Mistake no. 1: Treat Internet Business as Get-Rich-Fast-Scheme
You cannot get rich overnight in any internet business, at least without proper knowledge and experience, although I know quite a number of internet gurus who managed to earn millions overnight. The key point here is, you have to gone through a learning curve and take massive action in order to be successful. Always invest yourself in knowledge and you will be able to shorten your learning curve and get successful real soon.
Mistake no. 2: Give up too early
Many internet newbie just go for a certain course, create a product, set up a website, do some advertisement, and sit down to expect money to fall down. It just does not work this way for you to becoming successful. One of my mentors, Ewen Chia spent 7 years in internet marketing before becoming the super affiliate that earned millions online.
Mistake no. 3: Expecting results overnight
Many internet marketers have learned some skills on internet marketing and found very less lead coming to their site. They then blame that internet marketing is a scam and it is no way you can earn money online. However, you have to know that, internet is an ongoing business. And the best part is, once you post something on others people site, your post will be staying there as far as the site is there and the webmaster does not delete your link. Therefore, your link might be getting attention from some prospects months after. This is how we apply concept of link exchange. The more you exchange links with others, the more visible you are online.
